WHO THIS IS FOR
We handle tax returns for sole traders and freelancers managing their own income, contractors and CIS workers in the construction industry, landlords with rental income, directors with dividend income, and individuals with multiple sources of income requiring careful reporting.
STRAIGHT FORWARD
YOUR RETURN, HANDLED WITH CLARITY
We start by understanding what you've earned and what you've spent. Then we quote a fixed fee upfront, so there are no surprises when the invoice arrives.
01
We understand your position
You tell us about your income sources and circumstances. We listen properly, ask the right questions, and build a picture of your tax situation before we do anything else.
02
We quote what it costs
No hidden charges, no estimates that change. You know the price before you commit, and you decide whether to proceed.
03
We file and keep you posted
Once you're ready, we gather your documents, prepare your return to HMRC standards, and submit it on time. You'll hear from us at each stage.
MTD READINESS
MAKING TAX DIGITAL SUPPORT
From April this year, certain self-employed individuals must report to HMRC every quarter. We manage these submissions so you don't have to think about them.
Who needs to report quarterly
If you're self-employed with turnover above the threshold, quarterly reporting is now mandatory.
We file each quarter on your behalf
Four times a year, we submit your figures directly to HMRC without you lifting a finger.
Your year-end return is already half done
By the time January arrives, we've already reported most of your position, making the final return straightforward.

QUESTIONS
The answers to what keeps most people awake at night about tax.
When is it due?
The deadline for filing your self-assessment tax return is 31 January following the end of the tax year. HMRC charges penalties if you miss this date, so we make sure yours lands on time, every time.
Do I need to file?
If you're self-employed, a contractor, a landlord, or have income outside of employment, you almost certainly do. The safest approach is to ask, and we can tell you straight whether you're in scope or not.
What documents matter?
Bank statements, invoices, receipts, and records of what you've spent on business expenses. Keep them organised and we'll know exactly what to ask for when the time comes.
Can I claim expenses?
Yes. Legitimate business costs reduce your taxable profit, which means you pay less tax. We know which expenses count and which don't, so nothing gets left on the table.
What if I owe money?
We'll tell you what you owe before we file, so there are no surprises. You can then arrange payment with HMRC, and we'll guide you through the process if needed.
Are You Owed a CIS Tax Refund?
If you work within the Construction Industry Scheme, 20% of your income is deducted at source before you're even paid. In many cases this means you've overpaid tax and are entitled to a refund. We prepare and file your CIS tax return to ensure you reclaim every penny you're owed, quickly and accurately. The refund paid directly into your nominated bank account.
